Dr. Taran Sidiura is a dedicated Oakville dentist committed to providing exceptional dental care for patients of all ages. Born and raised in the Greater Toronto Area, he earned his Honors Bachelor of Medical Sciences (BMSc) degree from the University of Western Ontario, with a double major in Pharmacology and Medical Sciences, earning a place on the Dean’s Honor List. Dr. Sidiura received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of New England in the USA, where he was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) Dental Honors Society.
A strong believer in lifelong learning, Dr. Sidiura continually expands his knowledge through continuing education, ensuring his patients receive the latest and most effective dental care. He values open communication and takes the time to discuss treatment options, helping patients achieve and maintain optimal oral health.
Certified in Invisalign, minimal sedation, and CBCT. Dr. Sidiura combines advanced technology with a patient-centred approach to deliver comprehensive and comfortable dental treatments.
An active member of the Ontario Dental Association, Canadian Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), American Academy of Clear Aligners (AACA), and RCDSO.
Dr. Sidiura is passionate about all aspects of general dentistry and enjoys helping his patients smile with confidence. Outside the clinic, he loves travelling, exploring the outdoors, playing sports, and spending quality time with family and friends.

I started coming to South Oak Dental last year and I’ve had such a great experience. Dr Sidiura is kind and knowledgeable, his office is clean and modern. Katie is super sweet and always does such a good job cleaning my teeth. The receptionist is also welcoming and she always ensures to double check insurance coverage and direct bill, which we really appreciate. Definitely recommend !

South Oak Dental has been incredible for all my dental needs. Dr. Taran is amazing — I usually get nervous about anything dental-related, but he’s so gentle and always takes the time to listen to my concerns, which makes such a big difference.
Katie did my teeth cleaning and she was fantastic too! She was super thorough and even recommended some great options to help with my stubborn stains, which I really appreciated.
And the receptionist is always so friendly and helpful. She’s great at offering different appointment options and makes scheduling so easy.
Overall, such a kind, professional team. I always leave feeling well taken care of!

I just became a new patient of this clinic and I have had the best experience in a dentist office ever! I moved to the area just a couple of years ago and I had been looking for a local dentist. I did a lot of research and every time this clinic came on top in all the reviews, so I decided to give it a try. From the moment I booked the appointment, to first walking in, everything went very smoothly. Everyone was very polite and professional. The dental assistant that saw me first was Katie, who was very personable and took time to explain every step in detail. She obtained my X-rays using state of the art equipment and later performed a thorough cleaning. Dr. Sidiura is very knowledgeable, professional and with impeccable “bedside manners”. He ensured I understood everything perfectly and provided excellent treatment recommendations that I am following.
The administrative assistant at the front desk (Chassan) explained clearly all the paperwork, invoicing and insurance coverage. They also bill directly my insurance company, which is as it should be.
I highly recommend this dental clinic to everyone and I will not hesitate to send over other family members!

I’m a new patient at South Oak Dental after moving to Oakville from Toronto where my old dentist used to be. I’ve had an amazing experience so far! Katie is my dental hygienist and she’s been nothing but lovely. She has listened and understood my needs as a patient and is incredibly gentle. No more leaving the dentist with painful gums ☺️
I met Dr. Sidiura for my first consultation appointment and he seemed very professional and knowledgeable. He will be doing some fillings for me in a few weeks and I have no doubt that he will do an amazing job. I highly recommend South Oak Dental!
