Meet Katie, a dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist at South Oak Dental, passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. She earned her Dental Hygiene diploma from Durham College in 2022, building on her foundation from the Pre-Health Science Pathway to Advanced Diplomas and Degrees Program at Mohawk College, which sparked her love for dentistry in 2019.
Katie believes in a collaborative approach to dental care, working closely with patients to improve not only oral health but overall wellness. She is committed to providing gentle, personalized care and educating patients on maintaining lifelong healthy habits.
Outside of the clinic, Katie enjoys spending time outdoors, travelling, and making memories with family and friends.

Very positive experience as a new patient with South Oak Dental! Chashan was friendly and helpful on the phone and at the front desk. Kuljit and Dr. Sidiura were both so kind and gentle during my appointment and made sure to check in and see how I was doing multiple times. Dr. Sidiura explained everything while showing my scans afterward and I left feeling more confident in my health!

I started coming to South Oak Dental last year and I’ve had such a great experience. Dr Sidiura is kind and knowledgeable, his office is clean and modern. Katie is super sweet and always does such a good job cleaning my teeth. The receptionist is also welcoming and she always ensures to double check insurance coverage and direct bill, which we really appreciate. Definitely recommend !

South Oak Dental has been incredible for all my dental needs. Dr. Taran is amazing — I usually get nervous about anything dental-related, but he’s so gentle and always takes the time to listen to my concerns, which makes such a big difference.
Katie did my teeth cleaning and she was fantastic too! She was super thorough and even recommended some great options to help with my stubborn stains, which I really appreciated.
And the receptionist is always so friendly and helpful. She’s great at offering different appointment options and makes scheduling so easy.
Overall, such a kind, professional team. I always leave feeling well taken care of!

I’m a new patient at South Oak Dental after moving to Oakville from Toronto where my old dentist used to be. I’ve had an amazing experience so far! Katie is my dental hygienist and she’s been nothing but lovely. She has listened and understood my needs as a patient and is incredibly gentle. No more leaving the dentist with painful gums ☺️
I met Dr. Sidiura for my first consultation appointment and he seemed very professional and knowledgeable. He will be doing some fillings for me in a few weeks and I have no doubt that he will do an amazing job. I highly recommend South Oak Dental!
